Bold & Vulnerable with Jessica & Svetlana: "Entrepreneurial Lifestyle, Starting a Company, and Taking the Leap" - Glenn Diersen- Episode 031
Glenn Diersen is a successful entrepreneur who founded his company in his twenties and takes us along his journey as a young CEO in the tech space.
Glenn was born in 1991 in Richmond, Virginia, to Glenn and Sylvia Diersen. He was raised in Richmond and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where he found his passion for our increasingly globalized world and thus obtained two degrees with a global studies focus – a BBA in International Business and a BA in Spanish.
Upon graduation, Glenn relocated to the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan Area and joined an IT Human Capital Solutions Provider where he discovered his calling in life. Glenn initiated the IT Government Services Consulting Practice from the ground up and upon his departure, the Government Services Practice was the fastest growing segment of the company. After becoming the number one producer among over 200 hundred in his prior life and being tapped on the shoulder to be the National Director of Government Services, Glenn could not ignore the deep-seated feeling that he was meant to do something bigger with his life.
Being a lifelong entrepreneur, Glenn launched Summit Human Capital in April of 2018, a company focused in IT Human Capital Solutions dedicated to positively changing lives through building deep and profound relationships. After growing over 2,000% the first two years in business, Glenn is committed to sustaining this growth and building Summit Human Capital to becoming a global force in the IT Human Capital community.
Glenn is married to Nina Diersen and they reside in the midst of the highly energetic Scott’s Addition region of Richmond, Virginia. Glenn is dedicated to supporting our future leaders in the workforce and thus serves as a current Member of the Board for the International Business Advisory Board at James Madison University and as a Member of the Strategic Advisory Council (SAC) at Randolph-Macon College.
Glenn loves to play tennis in his spare time and to travel the world with his wife.
